SRHR-HIV Knows No Borders II

Following the successful implementation of the SRHR HIV Knows No Borders project phase 1 component between 2016 – 2020, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in partnership with Save the Children (SC) received 6-year funding to continue with the implementation of the project entitled: “SRHR-HIV Knows No Border: Improving SRHR-HIV Outcomes for Migrants, Young and Vulnerable People and Sex Workers in Migration-Affected Communities in Southern Africa 2021 - 2026”.

The objective of the Project: Improved SRH and HIV outcomes and quality of life among young vulnerable people (YVP) aged 10 to 29 years including migrants and sex workers living in migration affected communities in six countries in Southern Africa including Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Republic of South Africa and Zambia.
Specific Objectives
Objective 1: Healthy Choices: Young vulnerable people (YVP), including migrants and sex workers living in migration-affected communities have safe sexual behavior and greater freedom of choice about their HIV and SRH rights by December 2026.

 Objective 2: Access to Services: Young vulnerable people (YVP), including migrants and sex workers living in migration-affected communities have increased access to and utilization of quality SRH-HIV and other support services by December 2026.

 Objective 3: Creating an enabling environment: Young vulnerable people (YVP), including migrants and sex workers living in migration affected communities in six countries of Southern Africa, have their SRH-HIV rights and needs progressively addressed in changed socio-cultural norms, policy reforms, and implementation at local, national and regional levels by December 2026.
