Community-Led Monitoring Overview
The purpose of the Community-Led Feedback Program is to coordinate the development and implementation of the community data collection on experiences of HIV services provision with regards to availability, access, and delivery of HIV care and support services. AMICAALL has received funding from The United States Embassy to implement the Community-Led Monitoring project in the Lubombo region. CANGO provide the overall Technical Leadership and Guidance to the implementation of the project. This grant seeks to improve the quality of health services provided for PLHIV in the region’s five health facilities (Good Shepherd Hospital, Lomahasha, Siteki Nazarene, Shewula Nazarene and Simunye Clinics). The main objectives of the grant are:
- To ensure that Community members are able to have access to quality HIV care and
treatment services systems - To create demand for the uptake of HIV testing, treatment and care services and
increased literacy - To identify barriers to treatment uptake and inform policy change
